Bobby - Our children's stories

Bobby

Bobby

Bobby is a beautiful one-year-old boy with dark brown hair and sparkling blue eyes. Bobby is adored by his foster family, who describe him as “a very happy, sociable and settled baby.” He has a gentle, easy-going nature and is very relaxed.

He loves to babble away as though he is telling his own little stories, and he responds with bright smiles and giggles when spoken to. Bobby has started to say words such as “mama” and “dada,” and his confidence and curiosity continue to grow as he explores the world around him. He has formed strong, positive attachments with his foster carers and shares warm, loving interactions with them every day. He is thriving in his placement and is meeting all his developmental milestones.

Bobby is an active and curious little boy who loves to have fun and explore.

One of his favourite times of day is bathtime, where he happily splashes in the water and fills the room with laughter. He also loves going on the swings at the park, where he enjoys the movement and the fresh air.

Bobby enjoys being close to his carers and loves cuddles and affectionate play. He’s developing his physical skills every day, he can roll over, sit unaided for short periods, move around on his tummy, and stand with support. He loves nursery rhymes, watching colourful images on TV, going to soft play, and swimming with his foster carers, where he enjoys splashing in the water. Bobby is enjoying trying a wide variety of foods and textures and will try most things. He especially likes fruit and has no foods that he currently dislikes.

Bobby lived with his birth parents for only a few weeks before moving into foster care due to concerns within their relationship. Since being in foster care, his needs have been met to a high standard, and he has flourished in a safe, nurturing environment. There are no concerns around Bobby’s development however there is ADHD in his birth family therefore he could be more susceptible to develop this and needs a family who are accepting and supportive of this. Bobby is of mixed heritage including White British.

Bobby’s foster carers describe him as "very happy," full of giggles, smiles, and cheerful babbling. They say he brings joy and laughter to everyone who spends time with him.

Bobby needs a fun, loving and nurturing family who will provide him with a safe and secure home. They should enjoy spending time together across a range of activities, offering plenty of affection, play, and opportunities to create happy memories. Bobby would thrive in a family who will celebrate his cheerful and sociable personality, encourage his curiosity, and support his development as he continues to grow and learn. He needs a family who will embrace him wholeheartedly, offering understanding and acceptance should any additional needs arise in the future. He is a delightful little boy who will bring happiness, love and laughter to the family who has the privilege of welcoming him into their lives.
