Yasmin is a totally sassy, funny, delightful three year old who’s favourite colour is pink.Yasmin loves playing games like Hungry Frogs and shopping list board games and especially likes it when she wins! She loves dressing up in sparkly princess clothes, with her clippy clop shoes and handbag! And she also loves being out at the park, climbing the biggest slides and she’s so brave she’ll try to come down backwards. She loves singing, dancing and gymnastics too. Her favourite film is the Grinch! Yamin’s early life has impacted how safe she feels and her ability to trust adults. She has also been separated from older siblings that she has grown up with. She needs a family who want to be there for her every day, who will help her to feel safe, cared for and nurture a sense of belonging. Yasmin’s foster family adore her: they think she is lovely, really funny and full of sass; totally knowing her own mind! They say she has a very sweet nature; especially kind with babies and pets. They have loved watching her grow and really thrive in their care. They understand she needs reassurance to help with big feelings where she might be feeling unsafe. She has become a part of their extended family. Yasmin’s social worker says: “I think she is absolutely adorable. Spending time with her is a real privilege where we can get lost in play and funny games. I could listen to her stories for hours and her little voice makes my heart melt! She is also full of confidence and isn’t shy to tell you she wants a biscuit, or cheat in a game of Hungry Frogs to make sure she’s the winner! She really makes me smile.” Yasmin is dual heritage – White British/Bangladeshi. She is looking for a family who can work as a team to support each other in parenting a sassy, determined and playful girl with lots of bubbly energy. She has lived with older children at home and with pets. Any family should be committed to helping this beautiful little girl to feel safe and accepted and have the insight and patience to offer lots of reassurance and nurture to help fill the gaps she missed in her little life. |
