Indigo - Our children's stories

Indigo

Indigo

Indigo is a happy two-year-old girl with lots of love to give. She has deep brown eyes with brown, curly hair and light olive complexion.

She loves visiting the farm, going to play gyms and water play. She is confident on her feet and can communicate her needs, through gesture or with the use of new words she is learning.

Indigo presented with some developmental delay when she moved to foster care at 11 months old. Since living with her foster carers, she has made significant progress; she is now walking, eats a healthy balanced diet, is showing off the new words she has learnt and is able to show her emotions appropriately and interact with those around her.

Indigo has mixed heritage believed to include Black Jamican. Unfortunately, paternity is not known for her.

Indigo’s carers comment on how happy she is from the moment she wakes up, shouting “hello!” from her room when she wakes.

They describe her as a joy to care for – even when she is showing her strong will!

Indigo is looking for a one or two parent family. She is sociable and can be placed in a family that already has children.
Children’s names have been changed and stock photos have been used to protect identity.
