Albert, Oliver & Dougie - Our children's stories

Albert, Oliver & Dougie

Albert, Oliver & Dougie

Albert, Oliver and Dougie are amazing boys who are spoken about so highly by everyone who knows them and it is clear that they would bring a family absolute joy and happiness.

Albert (7) is a sociable and friendly boy who likes to make friends with everyone! He likes school and playing with his friends outside. Albert is really interested in space! He loves learning about all things to do with space, rockets, planets and astrology, and he would love to show you his books on these topics – that would be lots of fun. He has been told he has an amazing imagination because of how he likes to build things with Lego.

People have also described him as ‘inquisitive’ because he loves to learn new things, read books and watch a TV programme called ‘How it’s made’ which shows him how lots of different things work.

Albert’s foster carers don’t report any worries about his behaviours or emotions and he is a well-mannered, yet cheeky and funny little joy. His school report no worries about his emotions, behaviours or learning too – he is currently meeting all of his developmental milestones and has managed to almost fully catch up in school where he missed learning before living with foster carers.

Oliver (4) is a happy little boy who loves to smile and make other people smile and laugh too! He can be a little bit more shy than his big brother when he’s around new people, but once he gets to know you, he’s a little chatterbox. He loves to play with building blocks and Lego and likes to build things with his brother. His favourite time of day is when he gets to eat! He has a big appetite and loves curry. He enjoys spending time playing with both of his brothers and he misses Albert when he’s at school. He’ll be going to school in September and hopes they  will get to play there too. He likes watching Spiderman and Mickey Mouse.

Oliver is described as a well-mannered and kind little boy too, but it is clear he does have a cheeky and mischievous side.

His foster carers have no worries about his emotions or behaviours and it has been said by his health visitor that he is meeting all of his developmental milestones, and he is ready for the next step of going to school in September! His nursery also have no worries about him and say he is a wonder to have.

Dougie (1) is a happy and playful little boy. He enjoys exploring the world around him and his favourite thing to do is kick footballs around the garden! He loves being outside and playing with his big brothers too. He likes playing with and crawling around the room after soft balls, and he really enjoys being in water and going swimming too!

He is an affectionate little boy because he loves to have hugs and cuddles with his foster carers and big brothers.

He goes to nursery and he seems to have settled in well. Dougie does have eczema, which can flare up and cause itchiness. His health visitor says that he is meeting all of his developmental milestones and his foster carers don’t report any worries about his emotions or behaviours.

The boys have settled amazingly well into their foster home together and their carers always speak very fondly of the boys – they are well loved.

Albert, Oliver and Dougie need a family who can provide them with love, stability and care.

The absolute hope is for a family who would be able to consider all three boys, but in case that doesn’t happen, to make sure they all have a chance of a loving family, we would consider separating them. This would mean we would look for a family for Albert and Oliver together, and a family for Dougie separate. Should this be needed, we would need any families considering the boys to be open to direct contact between them moving forward.
