Victor (1) is a beautiful little boy with fair skin, light blonde hair and big blue eyes. He is a happy and smiley little boy with an infectious giggle and doesn’t often cry – only really when he’s hungry or tired. He likes to be held by his foster carers who make him feel safe and he loves it when they speak and sing to him. Victor loves playing with toys in the living room and he recently enjoyed his birthday with a party which was lots of fun! He can get a bit scared when things are too loud, when people talk a bit too loudly too suddenly around him, it can cause him to flinch and be a bit upset, but he’s fine straight after a cuddle! Victor’s favourite toy is his cuddly Koala that his birth mum and dad gave him so this is really important! He loves his sleep and when he goes to sleep he likes to listen to white noise, it’s too quiet otherwise! He has a good appetite and he loves trying new foods, his absolute favourite has got to be banana porridge though! Victor doesn’t go to play groups at the moment, but his foster carers have their own children who he plays with and talks to so that makes him happy. Victor was born withdrawing; he was discharged straight into foster care from the hospital and has been with the same foster carers throughout his life. He has settled well, and there are currently no concerns over his development, emotions or behaviours. Victor has eczema which can get quite severe and cause him a lot of itching. Victor’s foster carer’s say he is interactive with and responsive to the adults around him and he likes playing with his toys but will always want to be near his foster carers so he can have cuddles too. He is described as a relaxed and settled little baby, as well being described as happy and content. They do say he isn’t really a ‘morning’ person so he can be a bit grumpy when he first wakes up, but he quickly becomes excited for the day ahead after he’s had his breakfast.Victor wants a home where he feels safe, understood and cared for. He needs a family where he will be loved and supported. Victor has some Indian heritage so it can also be assumed that he would like a family who will be willing to help him learn about this. Victor would love a family who can help him live a happy, active, and fulfilling life. |
