Louie - Our children's stories

Louie

Louie

Louie (aged 1) is a loving, cuddly little boy who brings smiles wherever he goes with his cheeky grin and calm nature.

Louie is in a great routine, sleeping soundly from 7pm right through to 7am and enjoying two good naps during the day which help keep him happy and full of energy. He settles to sleep with his dummy and he doesn’t need a night light as he’s perfectly content to drift off. One of his favourite things is food! He loves trying new tastes and textures, especially yoghurt and fruit custard, which always make him giggle with delight.

Going outside in the pram for a walk is another thing Louie really enjoys, watching the world go by is so exciting, and he often babbles along the way.

Bath time is full of fun too; he splashes and kicks his legs like a little frog, and he could stay in the water for ages if you’d let him. He’s very chilled and easy-going, and loves being around other children and adults: being part of the group makes him feel safe and happy. He can sit up all on his own and can roll wherever he wants to go!

Louie was known to Children Social Care before his birth. He was exposed to substance misuse and domestic violence in utero. He was removed from his birth parents care and placed with experienced foster carers when he was 5 days old, where he has remained since. Louie is doing very well in their care and he is meeting his expected milestones.

Louie is a lovable little chappy, full of charm, very alert and engaging, always watching, listening, and soaking everything in. He is curious, content, and brings a calm joy to those around him.

Louie is looking for a family who can meet his identity needs or a family that can strongly promote his white British identity. He is used to a busy household so a family with existing children would be welcomed as would a family with no existing children but a strong support network of other young children for him to socialise with.

Children’s names have been changed and stock photos have been used to protect identity.
