LGBT+ Adoption & Fostering Week 2021

Here at Adoption Now we are supporting LGBT+ Adoption & Fostering Week (1st - 7th March) which calls for LGBT+ people to consider adoption as a route to ‘Build Your Family’!

With 80,000 children in care in 2020 in England alone, the week aims to bring together agencies and LGBT+ possible applicants, as well as explaining the assessment process in simple steps and dispelling popular myths.

We are proud to be a member agency of New Family Social, the UK based charity who support LGBT+ people on their journeys to becoming parents and foster carers; and who lead the campaign week.

Last year the number of same-sex couples adopting in England reached a record high of 1 in 6. But we still need more!
