Smiling Black African boy

Abel is a delightful three-year-old boy who is described as happy, bubbly, cheeky, mischievous and funny. He is very endearing and will capture your attention immediately.

Abel enjoys playing with his toy cars, dinosaurs, looking at books and colouring. He enjoys going outside to the park and spending time with the extended foster family and friends at play centres or on days out. In nursery he enjoys role play and crafting. He also enjoys watching cartoons on TV like Coco Melon and Paw Patrol. On the weekend Abel can be found visiting the local swimming pool and is comfortable with climbing in and out of the pool with his carer and wears arm bands.

Abel is an absolute pleasure to spend time with. He has impeccable manners and is wise beyond his years.

He is also very caring and thoughtful with children older and younger than himself. He is also a spirited soul who is enthusiastic and boisterous. Abel has a good understanding of the world around him, and his foster carer has instilled good values in him. He is a thoughtful little boy and he enjoys pleasing people.

Abel enjoys experiencing new things and with a little encouragement he will try most things although he does lack some self-confidence and belief and if he can’t do something the first time has a tendency to give up. However, with positive praise and time spent with Abel he will reapproach a task and try again.

Abel lived with his birth mother and older half siblings until he was five months old and then came into care of the local authority due to risk of neglect.

Abel is doing well at nursery and they say “He will do anything that is asked of him” and describe him as being a “lovely little boy”.

He enjoys playing with the nursery practitioners and will ask them to play/craft with him. He will play alongside other children and he is being encouraged to play with them and take turns/share. Abel is a little chatter box and loves telling stories and speaking/communicating with others.

Abel would welcome a loving family who could celebrate his African Heritage and provide him with opportunities to thrive and succeed in life.
