Brother and Sister sitting together

Evelyn (aged 3) and her brother George (aged 2)
are bright, happy and loving children who are
looking for a family who love the outdoors
as much as they do.

Evelyn’s favourite things are music and books and she will listen to nursery rhymes, copying the actions, dancing along. She also loves to watch Frozen and Moana and will sing along to the songs. Evelyn enjoys painting, play doh and most forms of sensory play and she is inquisitive, taking time to properly work out how an item works. She adores the outdoors and she would play outdoors in all types of weather, climbing on her climbing frame and playing in her mud kitchen.

Evelyn is described as a lovely, happy, confident and determined little girl who is very bright and likes to make the most out of everything.

George is a bonny and happy little boy with a quiet and gentle personality, ‘a big softy’. He loves to look at books, especially lift the flap books and he also loves to watch Mr Tumble. He likes toys that make a sound, particularly bells. Geoge is walking around confidently and can climb and get himself in and out of his sit-on car. He can wave, clap hands and will mimic the actions to several nursery rhymes. George loves to watch his big sister and he will follow her everywhere. He has also started to stand his ground with her by not letting her take his toys and sometimes resisting her well intentioned cuddles!

Evelyn is exceptionally close to her younger brother and likes to cuddle him a lot but, can be a bit over enthusiastic sometimes and squish him! As George is now getting a bit older, he can sometimes get a bit frustrated with Evelyn’s displays of affection however, it is clear that he loves his sister and he follows and copies most things that she does.

They share a lovely close relationship as well a bedroom, where they can often be heard babbling and giggling to each other when they wake in a morning.

Due to her early life experiences Evelyn was significantly developmentally delayed when she came into foster care however, has made some great progress since that time. She is delayed with her speech but has really good understanding and she has also learnt to sign some of her needs such as when she wants a drink.

Evelyn and George are looking for a two-parent family who are fun, creative and nurturing.
