Felix is a beautiful, happy, content, and smiley little boy with mesmerising eyes. He is not quite one yet but sleeps right through the night and enjoys naps during the day.
Felix is described as very calm, but his carers have shared he has a noisy cute sneeze. He enjoys being around other children and loves being on his play mat on his tummy where he will try push himself up by his arms. He has the most beautiful laugh and enjoys lots of tickles!! He is described as a bit of a poser as he loves looking at himself in the mirror.
Felix likes being taken out and about and watching everything around him whilst he is in the pram. He is enjoying weening and likes sweet and savoury foods. He enjoys being sung to and likes to fall asleep to nursery rhymes as well as enjoying all music. He loves lots of cuddles.
Felix was moved into foster care at birth due to concerns around his parents’ transient lifestyle as well as them struggling to meet their own needs so unable to meet Felix’s too. Felix has two brothers who were also moved from their parents care at birth and have now joined their prospective adoptive family together.
Felix’s birth mother has struggled with chronic and excessive alcohol use for some years including during pregnancy for all three boys and his brothers are being monitored for foetal alcohol syndrome. Felix is following a similar pattern of development as his brothers at present, as he is delayed both emotionally and socially according to recent health assessments.
Felix is a lovely, beautiful little boy and his carers have said they are often stopped by people wanting to say hello to him. His carers say he is currently easy to care for and is a little joy.
Felix needs a family who will give him lots of love and cuddles. He requires a family who would consider a child with potential foetal alcohol syndrome as well as being keen to promote contact with his older brothers.
