Little girl wearing a hat in pram Imogen (aged one) is a lovely, happy and content little girl who loves being outside in her pram, exploring the world around her.

Imogen currently loves watching Miss Rachel on YouTube. She enjoys musical toys and noises. She likes toys that she can scrunch and make sounds with.

Imogen is described as very calm in her nature. She is settled in her foster family and into a routine. Her foster carer describes her as a good-natured baby who enjoys cuddles and company. She says that Imogen is a joy to care for and she makes people happy and smile with her infectious personality.

Imogen has started weaning slowly and is reported to enjoy her food although she does not seem to be progressing with textures. She is not currently meeting her developmental milestones with her gross motor skills; she is floppy at times and she is not yet able to sit up unaided. Imogen still wakes frequently during the night.

Imogen was exposed to drug and possibly alcohol misuse during pregnancy. Her mother was given medication to help her to detox which further exposed Imogen to substances and she was born withdrawing. It is also suspected that she has been exposed to domestic violence between her parents.

Imogen has been in foster care since her birth and presents as a happy and sociable little girl who enjoys interaction of any kind and the attention of others. She is a very loving little girl; she enjoys being held and cuddled.

Imogen is making good progress and has formed a close bond to her foster carer and her wider family.

As Imogen is growing and developing, she is displaying symptoms associated with Foetal Alcohol Syndrome. She continues to be monitored by health in terms of this and her developmental delay.

Imogen needs a family who can understand her history and uncertainty around her developmental needs. She can live with a family that have children as she is used to and enjoys playing and interacting with children, both at home and when out in the community.
