Infant girl smiling for camera

Lola is a beautiful one year old with big blue eyes and a cheeky  smile. She’s a cute and curious baby girl who always wakes up with a smile on her face.

Lola is very sociable, making good eye contact and babbling to those around her. She loves cuddles and being held. She is happy and content and described as a pleasure to care for; enjoying her food and being in a great routine.

Lola loves playing on the floor with her musical and sensory toys. She likes to roll around and also enjoys engaging in messy play. She also enjoys being outside in her pram, going to play groups and the park, and playing in water.

Lola is a fan of nursery rhymes with ‘Miss Rachel’ on TV and enjoys any music and interactions. She also likes story books, particularly textured, sensory books.

Lola came into care due to her birth parents having learning difficulties and being unable to care for her. Lola’s birth was also very difficult and she experience some foetal distress.

Lola has some developmental delay but is making good progress. She is able to stand with support and loves to roll around, recently starting to commando crawl. She is currently awaiting the outcome of genetics testing and regardless of the outcome appears likely to have some level of learning need in the future.

Due to the recent genetic testing, Lola is looking for a patient, loving and caring family who are accepting of the current uncertainties around any future health or genetic needs, and able to support her to reach her potential. She would like a fun, loving family who will provide her with a safe and nurturing home, lots of cuddles and opportunities to create happy memories together.
