Milo and Rory are one-year-old twins with a shared love of water play. They are so happy in the bath when sitting in their bath seats and will splash the water with joy. They have a bath every night as part of their bedtime routine.
Milo has a cheeky personality and wants to be doing everything at 100 miles an hour, he is always on the go. His language is coming on and he can say words like “flower”, “waffle” and his favourite nursery rhyme, Old Macdonald where he will say “ei-ei-o”. He has a love of dinosaurs and will say “roar”. He is a happy little boy, although when he is not, he can be tricky to settle. Milo is a little smaller than his twin brother but he is developing well. He loves the attention of others, he is inquisitive and likes to explore and learn.
Rory is more reserved than his brother. He has bright eyes that become small when he smiles due to his gorgeous chubby cheeks. Rory is a very ‘loving’ little boy with people he is comfortable around; he enjoys cuddles and the consistent reassurance that his care giver is available to him. He loves his fidget toy, which is a little colourful worm and he really enjoys sensory toys.
The boys were moved into foster care due to the significant risks that were identified during the pregnancy including parent’s poor mental health, substance misuse and history of neglect.
The boys need a family who can accept a lot of uncertainty around development due to the twins’ very young ages and both boys’ already presenting needs which may change over time. They are however very giving children who will provide much joy for a family.
