Little boy on Giraffe see-sawOwen is three years old and described as a
wonderful little cuddly boy. He can be shy at first
but once he gets to know you he’s his happy and
playful self.

Owen loves sensory play such as water and sand tables, he also enjoys playing with playdoh. He also has a very keen interest in space! He knows all the planets, sun and moon and enjoys naming each of them when pointed out. He has a space projector which is used at bedtimes, he loves to watch this before he goes to sleep and will giggle at the stars and bid it a good night when it is turned off.

Owen has a little elephant comforter that goes everywhere with him and he likes to have lots of cuddles and nice firm squeezes.

He has also recently started to take an interest in cars, emergency vehicles in particular and has a fire engine at home which he likes to play with.

Owen has had a difficult start in life where he wasn’t kept safe. He is slightly delayed in his development but continues to make good steady progress as time moves forward. He now attends nursery two days a week and is making good progress, enjoying getting involved in the activities. He has recently been diagnosed with Foetal Alcohol Syndrome (FASD).

Owen requires a family who are committed to him and who can see what an amazing little boy he is. He needs a family who will love him throughout his life and accept the uncertainty in respect of his future development.
