William is a determined, attentive and curious one year old with short, blonde hair beautiful big blue eyes and a cheeky smile with six teeth.
William is a cheerful, smiley baby who responds warmly to affection. He laughs readily when cuddled and enjoys soft, soothing voices.
William enjoys a variety of activities and prefers to transition between different environments, such as playing on the floor gym, relaxing in his bouncer chair, or standing on his carer’s knee to look around.
He has a distinct, loud cry that he uses to signal when he is hungry and has settled into a consistent sleep routine.
William is beginning to explore his vocal abilities through babbling and cooing. Growing up in a bustling household, he is accustomed to a variety of noises, including music and conversations, which seem to engage and entertain him. William’s adaptability and lively spirit make him a joyful presence in his foster home.
William enjoys observing and absorbing the world around him, showing a natural curiosity for his environment.
He finds comfort in watching the trees sway outdoors and loves going for walks, which have a soothing, calming effect on him. He thoroughly enjoys bath time, often relaxing in the warm water.
William was removed from his parents care at two days old due to his birth parents’ abusive and violent relationship as well as mental health issues. William has delays in his gross motor skills and is not currently meeting his milestones. He has been referred to the correct professionals for support.
William’s foster carers speak very fondly of him and express that he is a little delight. He is a smiley and cheeky little boy with lots of character and his is a very loved member of his whole, extended foster family.
William enjoys playtime, reaching out and grabbing toys that dangle from his play mat, especially those that make jingling or crinkling sounds. However, he is not currently fond of tummy time or his physiotherapy movement exercises. William has a muslin cloth, which he likes to hold for security. He loves bananas, porridge, vegetables, potatoes and avocado. He prefers his foods very smooth and isn’t a fan of lumps!
William is used to a busy household and living alongside other young children so a family with or without children would be welcomed. William currently lives alongside a pet cat named ‘Tom’ whom he enjoys interacting with and finds hilarious, so a family with or without pets would also be welcomed.
