- In 2020 1 in 6 adoptions in England were to same-sex couples, and with the Manchester Pride Festival due to take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend, we thought it would be a great time to talk about adoption and LGBT+.

A report published by the government shows that the North West has more children awaiting adoptive families than there are adopters. In every region there are more children than approved adopters with a BAME background.
